ABOUT
Alexandra creates visual worlds where rupture becomes renewal.
Born in Sweden and based in Tel Aviv, Alexandra bridges art and consciousness in pursuit of meaning beyond form.
Alexandra creates paintings upon commission, offering clients the opportunity to select the colour palette and canvas size while leaving the movement, texture, and application of light entirely to her intuitive process.
Each work becomes a dialogue between the client’s emotional tone and Alexandra’s artistic interpretation - a personalized expression of light in motion.
Alexandra Gunnarsson is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice moves between painting, performance, and light-based expression. Originating from her early explorations in colour performance where pigment, movement, and emotion merged. Her work has evolved into a meditative study of how light takes shape through colour.

Over the past years, Alexandra has been illustrating light not merely as a visual element but as a living presence. A manifestation of healing, memory, and transcendence. Her compositions mirror the rhythm of her own inner journey while resonating with the collective pulse of a nation seeking hope and renewal.
In the aftermath of October 7th, her recent works have become an act of witnessing and translating grief and resilience into luminous fields of colour that reflect both the fragility and endurance of the human spirit. Through abstraction and intuition, she paints the invisible: the breath between despair and faith, the quiet persistence of light where darkness insists on returning.

Born in Sweden and based in Tel Aviv, Alexandra bridges northern stillness with Middle Eastern intensity while blending Scandinavian minimalism with spiritual depth. Her art exists as both sanctuary and mirror, inviting viewers to pause, breathe, and remember that light, no matter how faint, always finds its way through.
